Join us for an unforgettable Landys and Lattes event like no other! This July, we’re taking our passion for Land Rovers and coffee to new heights in the scenic Magaliesburg Mountains near Hartbeespoort Dam. Picture yourself sipping a rewarding cup of coffee at the top of a dirt trail, surrounded by fellow Land Rover enthusiasts, sharing stories of adventure and laughter in a relaxed and informal setting.

But that’s not all! We’ve partnered with MO’BA coffee and their converted Defender 90, complete with a full Espresso Machine, to ensure that your coffee experience is nothing short of exceptional. Reoratile (Reo) Diremelo, a qualified barista and the owner of MO’BA coffee, will be joining us on the trail, bringing his expertise and passion for coffee to delight your taste buds.

As you enjoy your freshly brewed cup of coffee, the event hosts, Clint and his girlfriend Michelle, will be serving up delicious pancakes with either sweet and savoury fillings. It’s the perfect combination of indulgence and adventure, all in the heart of nature.

This unique event embodies the spirit of the Land Rover Owners Club of Southern Africa, bringing together members and non-members in a shared love for Land Rovers, camaraderie, and memorable experiences. There is no cost to attend, and there is no booking cutoff. However, please keep in mind that coffee and pancake provisions will be based on the expected attendance, and each individual is responsible for the cost of their coffee and pancakes.

To make the most of your experience, we recommend bringing your own camping chairs and tables, ensuring your comfort while enjoying the breathtaking views. Please also consider any special dietary needs and make the necessary arrangements.

The Land Rover Owners Club of Southern Africa has been hard at work, ensuring that this event surpasses all expectations and takes you on an unforgettable journey through the magnificent Magaliesburg Mountains. Let us walk you through the latest updates:

Thanks to the significant efforts of BearQuip, we have secured special permission to access private land in the heart of the picturesque Magaliesburg. This exclusive partnership adds an extraordinary touch, ensuring that your Landys and Lattes experience becomes even more remarkable.

Recently, Michelle and I had the incredible opportunity to join Stephen and Jaco from BearQuip on an exhilarating adventure. Together, we ventured along the majestic mountain trail, engaging in a little bush clearing to prepare the path for our upcoming Landys and Lattes event. As we delved deeper into the majestic wilderness, we couldn’t help but marvel at the breathtaking beauty that lies right on our doorstep.

Now, here comes the best part—after replenishing our energy, we offer you a choice. For those seeking a more exhilarating challenge, we invite you to join us on a thrilling journey to the top of the mountain. This drive is a bit more challenging, featuring rocky terrain that will put your Land Rover’s capabilities to the test. However, fear not, as it remains doable for most vehicles. For those preferring a more relaxed experience, you can choose to retrace our path and enjoy a scenic drive back down.

Once we reach the summit, we’ll take a moment to soak in the awe-inspiring sights that surround us. For the adventurous souls among us, there might even be an opportunity to take a stroll up the hill for a panoramic 360-degree view, capturing both the beauty of the dam and the Britz area.

When it’s time to descend, we offer you two options. If you prefer a leisurely drive, you can return the way we came, relishing the landscapes once again. However, if you’re up for an adrenaline-pumping adventure, we have an exciting descent in store. This thrilling route requires engaging low range and relying on engine compression as we navigate our way to the bottom.
